Hi Vaughn.

I own a Vox Lil' Night Train head and cab, and I uller low end responde and a mellower yet articulate top end from the set's cabinet (closed back; dimensions W x D x H): 420 x 160 x 300mm/16.5 x 6.3 x 11.8 Inches).

I will replace the stock speaker, and while I'm leaning towards the 10" Green Beret, I'm open to suggestions. I will not be able to test the speakers in person, so your advice is greatly appreciated. Low speaker sensitivity would be a plus since I live in a condo and I love to be able to crank the Lil' Night Train without bothering my neighbors.

I would like to know the following:

1) Which speakers will no fit in this small cabinet?.

2) I know that tone is subjective, but which speaker would be better suited for this head and cab set (especially in the cranked "thick" mode)?.

Regards.

What's the difference, tonewise, between the 10" GC/S and the 10" Veteran?.

Which one, between the 10" GC, the 10" Veteran and the 10" Green Beret, is the darkest and warmest Speaker?.

Which one is best suited for a bright amp like the Vox Lil' Night train?.

Which one works best in a closed back cabinet?.

Thanks.
