2X12 peavey cabinet which speakers do you reconmend ?

I have a 80"s closed back 2x12 cabinet i have a cravin british sounding speaker and stock peavey speaker i dont know what the carvin is its been to long. I have a Peavy vintage series roackmaster head (not the rackmount) also known as the poor mans JCM800 all i know is that it's a beast 120watts into 4 ohms. I havent used it much because i hate the way the cab  sounds. I play mostly rock blues style music and im looking to use this cab to drive it with my 73 silverface champ or my blackheart little giant head which is a pretty cool amp head. i want clear high end without ice picky treible but with balance mids and tight bottom. I use moslty strats but i also use a SG w.P90's, Les Paul and a tele with a little 59 in the bridge . I also use a OD and Fuzz once in a while but not a lot and a wah pedal. I need advice should I use two of the same or a combonation of two different speakers. Oh and  I'm waiting for my G8C to get here to put in may champ. i need 2X12" at 8 ohms to eaqul the 4 ohms ratring for the cab.
