Hi there!

Great great board that you have here!

Right now I am building an amp setup for a friend of mine.

I'm going to put 2 new speakers in a 2x12 Marshall cabinet that I converted to semi-open back.

It will be played though by a Blackface Fender Bassman with an ES-335 guitar.

The friend I build this for is playing in two bands at the same time. One is mainly blues to rock stuff (jazzy/bluesy American sounds and a lot of the Rolling Stones and a little Zeppelin in there). The other band is playing alternative/indie rock - no high gain, but a little more drive (Bassman drive though).

Also, it would be nice if the cabinet wouldn't make everything that is a little more Marshall-y very brittle. My freind is gigging a lot and the cabinet will probably be used by other bands sometimes. This is also why it should have at least 100w, both speakers combined.

What speakers would you recommend?

I am undecided between...

- 2x G12C

- 2x G12C/S ??

- 2x Reaper HP

- 1x G12C, 1x Reaper HP or ET65

Thanks a lot for your help :) !
