Greetings,

I'm about to embark on building a solid state amp for my acoustic/electric guitar (Washburn D46CESP): http://www.slpdoghousemusic.com/Product/d46cespk.html

Targeting about 50 W (based on the chip I'm using), and want nice pure clean tones.  Any recommendation as to the best speaker to use for it?  I'm leaning towards the G10C/S, but may also use the amp with a baritone someday, so perhaps something with more bass would be better.  My initial impression is that the American line would be better for a clean tone, but I might be way off on this.

Any advice appreciated.
