I've had this little amp for about a year now (christmas present to myself last year), but I have never liked it as much as I had hoped. it came stock with a Celestion tube 10 speaker in it which was fantastically mediocre. After a few months I got a Veteran 10 for it. It sounds a lot like a blackface Fender with this speaker, which is cool, but it's way to strident and bright for my taste. I've got a Green Beret 10 on the way for it now and I'll report back.

I have connected it to a Reaper in another amp and it sounded great. I think I just prefer the brittish style speakers. I wish the Green Beret 10 had been available sooner.

I haven't been able to find info anywhere about speaker options (or much of anything else) for this amp, so hopefully some other owners may find it useful.

Cool, thanks for the info ... I believe the G10C/S would be a match made in heaven for that lil gal, too!

The Green Beret 10 is exactly what this amp needed. I tend to prefer a lot of mids so it's great for me. The veteran 10 would be more up the alley for someone who is more into the black face sound.

I just installed the Green Beret yesterday, so it's not even broken in yet, but it's a winner with this amp in my book. At this point I have one amp (JCA2112rc) with a Reaper and one with a Green Beret, So I'm biased toward that "greenback" sound.

The bass response of the Green Beret 10 makes it sound like a larger amp thatn it is. It's hard to believe such a rich and full sound is coming out of that little box. It sounds great clean and with various kinds of dirt (ts808 clone, germanium tonebender etc). I never imagined such a small amp could sound so big. I think it's a great match.
