So this speaker are sounds little similar to the V30, but less midsnasal tone and not so brittle fizzy, if you know what I want to say. Therefore I will recommend the ET 65, have it in a 2 x 12 cab, sounds absolute round, warm and is agood type alrounder. For me better than any Celestion speaker but thats another story. You will not go wrong with the et65 sound.Greetings Hollywoody Log in or register to post comments #4derlis04 07/12/2013 5:01pmThanks for the helpLog in or register to post comments #5derlis04 07/26/2013 9:51amwhat about a green beret? but its only 25w ??? amp s 22w Log in or register to post comments #6VAUGHN SKOW 07/29/2013 2:32pmNo problem ... the GB can handle a FULL 25 tube watts! Hi derlis04,
I have them both tried, with a matchless head 30watt, a budda 22 watt.
The Emi Red white and blues is a good speaker, semed for me to be the Vintage 30 version American
type to the British Celestion V 30. So this speaker are sounds little similar to the V30, but less mids
nasal tone and not so brittle fizzy, if you know what I want to say.
Therefore I will recommend the ET 65, have it in a 2 x 12 cab, sounds absolute round, warm and is a
good type alrounder.
For me better than any Celestion speaker but thats another story.
You will not go wrong with the et65 sound.
Greetings Hollywoody
