Absolutely love my bb15 head, having so much more fun with it than my 68 custom PR. Gain is amazing, crunch with the EL84's is so organic. Im wanting to push it a bit more towards a jtm45 sound (I know, totally diff beast) - specifically a sound more like @22:45 in this video:

Yes, theyre running king of tone into it but EP booster into slight overdriven BB can get semi similar vibe... curious if any bb owners or other folks could comment on what speaker might help. I play a tele and strat and I have an avatar 112 cab open back and thinking I should order the convertible back to change it to a sealed cab for more of that marshall sealed back vibe.

Ive tried an 80's evm12l I had laying around (massive, but sizzly slight harsh metallic mids), a cannabis rex thats well broken in (sounds massive also, very loud, mids get mushy though when its crunch time). I just ordered a v-type used, as Im curious how the oem speaker sounds in a 112 cab. Any suggestions for pushing more towards the tone in this video? ET65 maybe? ET90 for even more balls?

Thanks all.

Second Bassbreaker question in a row ... man those cool little gals are really hot!  Anyway ...

Man that is the classic tone of a vintage Greenback in closed-back config ... so ... Go with a Green Beret, and yes, do the convertible back!
