Vaughn, which WGS speaker is comparable to the Celestion G12T-75 if any?
Thanks, Robert.

Hm75 I believe.

Yep ... but I really don't care for that speaker personally ... it ONLY sounds good when driven real hard and dirty!

Ah, now that's interesting. My SPL's show the HM75 high end peaks are in the same places as the ET65, but with the levels "inverted". 2.4kHz is ~3dB stronger like the Vet 30, Reapers, or GB, while 3.4~4kHz appears ~3dB weaker...and it has a more scooped mid-bass range. It may sound comparatively dull on the cleans, unless the Presence and/or Treble is cranked, as both parameters normally affect above ~3kHz.

I think the HM75 will no longer be made anyway...

HM75 No longer made? Yep, gone from the site.

Musician's Friend still shows them in stock if you're interested...

Glad I bought a pair a couple of months ago, even if I swap them out I'll always have them as an option.

The best bet is out British Lead ... everything that was good about the HM75 is BETTER with the BL. Seriousness, everything, even the power handling. Try one and you'll instantly hear it and agree :-)

Though it's not really a G12T75 the way we think of it, the now discontinued Liberator 80 I think does a marvelous job where Marshally typically would have used the G12T75. I would liken it to the original G12T75, which was much like a G12-65 but with a different VC, or perhaps a low resonance G12-65 (yes Celestion actually made such speakers).

This fellow being discontinued it's no longer available a'la carte, but could be ordered as a one off, I believe.
