I have an Avatar version of the Forte vertical 2x12. Essentially a closed bottom and side-vented top. Of the speakers I've tried, I wasn't a big fan of the Eminence Delta Pro 12A on the bottom / Reaper on top. I've since picked up an ET90 for my Port City oversized 1x12 cab (sounds massive) and ordered up a second one to go in the 2x12. Choices to pair with the ET90 include the Reaper (non-HP) and I have a Vet 30 in a bassman combo and a Retro 30 is on its way to me. So what say the folks here? Which of these speakers would go best with the ET90 (or other possible combination) and any preference for which speaker is in the closed bottom portion of the cab versus the open top? Thanks in advance for any replies!

Darn cool looking cab ... but I wouldn't want to move it ;-)
Haven't heard one ... so I'm kinda stabbing in the dark, but I'd say that cab does a good job of accentuating lows all by it's self, so ... I'd go with something like the Vet 30.
