Do the Green Beret 10s clean?

First, I would like to say I am no stranger to WGS speakers. I find them superior to nearly all of their celestion counterparts, and most of their eminence rivals. I don't know much about jensen so I can't say...but I want to know if the 10 inch green berets will hurt the clean sound I get from my hot rod deville 410 combo before I buy a quad. I know I could buy a quad of retro 10s, but a 240 watt cab might not get pushed enough to get the throaty growl I want from my 60 watt amp. I know I could pair them in an x pattern, but then I have to put two mics on my amp when playing live. I know I will like the growl I get from the green berets, but how do the cleans sound?

If that's your goal ... then you will be very happy with the GB 10s! And yes, they clean up nicely.
