I use that speaker in my '58 Gibson GA-77....BIG sound.
Yes, that's what has found a permanent home in my Tweed Fender Pro also ... so I think you are on the right track. BTW, the G15 Alnico version really did sound notably sweeter and smoother than the G15 Ceramic in the Pro ... which is a (fairly) similar circuit to your brown Bandmaster. But ... I gotta add this ... in it's original 3x10 config, a trio of G10A's would sound heavenly :-)
