Hi Vaughan,
I have a Laney IRT30, replaced the speaker with a WGS ET65 that I had on hand, much improved over the stock HH speaker (was harsh, sterile). I play mostly blues & classic rock, wondering if you have a recommendation for a replacement speaker that would be even better than the ET65.

Know that amp well... but not in the cabinet, I have the rack-mount version of it mounted in my work bench as my bench amp. I bet you are looking for more bottom-end, correct? If so, I’d say the G12C/S for some serious re-voicing to a WARM tone ... or the Reaper HP for a slighter revoicing!
