I put a little G10C/S in my Orange Crush PiX 35LDX. P-u-r-r-r-r-r-f-e-c-t for clean, lo-volume, Chet Atkins picking with Filtertrons. A beautiful match in my opinion. With this combo--which was already a great match for the Gretsch--my 6122-1958 sounds strikingly similar to Chet's recordings of the late 50s. The G10C/S is ridiculously efficient. It also adds a whopping bass dimension to this little amp compared to the original speaker.
