Hi all, has anyone paired these two? Is the G12C significantly louder than the G12A? Thanks

Yes, they play well together ... The G12C is not significantly louder overall ... but it is a little louder and more strident in the 2K range, adding the G12A to the mix serves to slightly soften this very pronounced vintage Jensen-like tone.
