Help. I'm looking for the best speaker and speaker combos for a 65 DRRI and a Vox AC15c2. There's so many to choose from and so much information overload from the forum's and Youtube.

For the Fender, I've narrowed it down to the g12c, g12c/s, g12c alnico, or et65. I don't really want to pay for the alnico if I don't have to go that route, but would like the best speaker. The combo is bright. I want something to tame the bright but keep the low end.

For the Vox, I've heard the WGS Special Edition with the g12c and those sound nice. I'm afraid 2 g12c's would be too bright. Would a g12c and et65 combo, g12c/s and et65 combo be better? Or should I go with two reapers or two et65's. I do, however, like the idea of the American voiced speaker in the Vox to add some frequencies it's missing.

If it helps, have an ES 335, a Les Paul Special, and a Telecaster.

Thanks for any help.

In YOUR case ... given what you are looking for, I'd say The G12C/S will NAIL your desired tone in the DRRI.
For the A/C15, Go with one G12C and one G12C/S ... all the magic top-end complex harmonics PLUS the deep, organic and woody tones of the smooth cone!
