There's a V30 in there which is nice especially on the vibrolux and bassman settings but in the burn channel there's the shrill spike (it's also there to a degree in the bassman and vibro settings) that just makes an awful sound. I'm sure my technique is subpar however I've been looking around and think the Reaper HP might just take me to where I want to be with this amp. I was thinking to have an external cab to see how they would blend but for now and if it satisfies me maybe just swapping out is easiest. The Reaper HP is 50 watts and the SuperSonic is watts. Is this going to matter? I don't think I've had it above 4 on the volume and I don't gig with it. Obviously if I ever put it in a separate cab they'd share the wattage but on it's own is it fine? Thanks for the help!
Sorry typo:
The Reaper HP is 50 watts and the SuperSonic is 60 watts.
