I have a dismantled Crate V Series 2X12 Cab. It's designed for 100W, closed.

If I mix/match the 2X12, I'm afraid that too many varieties of speakers might not be a great thing. Right now I have ET 65 Open back and ET65/Vet 30 4X12 Cab.

I'm leaning towards a combined set of Invaders. I've been playing almost 3 decades. Never had the simple pleasure of playing through the "other" popular name brand with any regularity. I'm into Classic Rock, basically. Playing around with an older Marshall Lead 12 or combine it with 50W AVT.

I love the ET 65 Open in an Ampeg VT60. The sound just keeps on giving, like the Energizer bunny.

The 4X12 setup I didn't like, at first. I'm kinda new to big Cabs. Much too quiet, esp compared to the Open ET 65. But turning up the volume turns up the growl. I can live with that, or I can upgrade back of Cab with quality wood and semi-open for home playing.

One question. Has any artist(s) ever been succesfull pairng up both an open and closed Cab simultaneously?? just curious.
