Any recommendations for something comparable to Sheffield 1230's?

I like my 1230's,  but would like to tame the highs a bit and would like more power handling..

I'm building a 2x12 cab and would like to keep both speakers the same.

My amplification consists of a Crate Flexwave Evolution 5 preamp section into a Peavey Classic 120 power amp into a Peavey Classic 412E with Sheffield 1230's. Yes, it's a weird combination, but it's worked well for me.

Gut instinct:  A pair of ET-65s!

Went with a pair of Liberators...nice speakers... they actually mixed very well with the 1230's. .  Using 2-- 2×12, each with a 1230 and a Liberator. Got rid of most of the fizz and tamed those highs quite nicely, so well in fact that I was able to pull the EQ from my effects loop.  I now have a unique, pleasing sound that can be heard very well in a live setting..Will be definitely checking out more of your speakers in the future!!
