Good morning all. First time poster here but long time reader of this forum. I'm planning on building a 2-12 combo cabinet with an open back to put my bugera v22 amp chassis in as well as the stock speaker. I play a G&L Legacy and a Classic vibe tele with the 4 way switch mod. I play mostly classic rock and blues and am loving this amp!!! So Vaughn what would be a good wgs 12" to pair with the stock bugera speaker? Thanks and any suggestions are much appreciated.

Man ... if ya can affort the Alnico, go Blackhawk!  If not, ET65.

I have the V22 head.  Really great clean channel.   Already running 9 other WGS speakers in different cabs,  I posted a question about speakers here a good while back when I got the amp.   But, I ended up getting a good deal on a loaded Avatar 2x12.   I use the cabinet in the partially open back config. with an Avatar alnico and a Celestion G12H30.  It's a great combination.   Cant compare directly to the WGS Alnico but I think Vaughn is spot on recommending the Blackhawk alnico if you can swing it.  Not sure how it will sound with the stock speaker, which sounds pretty good in demos, but if Vaughn thinks it will work out well, it probably will.
