Hi there,

I've come across the warehouse ET65 speakers in the UK whilst looking at Celestion G12-65's. I'm specifically looking for the Angus Young 1979 Powerage type tones which is why I've been looking at the G12-65 to pair with my '77 Marshall JMP 2203.

I'm currently using Celestion Heratige G12H-30's but they are breaking up too soon and don't seem to sit with the amp quite right.

How do they fair for tone with a 2203 in a 4x12?

I'm looking at buying a quad of them in the UK and there is a significant price difference to the Celestions!

Yes, the ET65s would certainly get you more in the right direction over the G12H30s!   Another EXCELLENT option would be a quad of WGS Green Berets.
