i have a 2x12 and already have a Celestion G12H Anniversary and wanna add a WGS speaker beside it, like a green beret or veteran 30. The amps a 35-watt 6l6 beast. what would people suggest? green beret or Veteran ?

i just want the extra cab, so I have options for recording... the combo has a 15" which i love but like covering all my bases.

thanks in advance.

Gavin

What type of tone are you wanting more of?

well the old zeppelin tone was a supro with a modified baffle where jimmy  replaced the 10 inch with a 12 inch british speaker . I know supro just released the Black magik , but i didnt want to be stuck with that one sound. I love the amp I bought built in speaker - but i was thinking if i have an extra cab i have more options .  i already own the celestion G12 anniversary so just after a speaker to  add to that and I was excited to step away from the usual brands as ive heard so many good things about WGS .

so my choices were the green or veteran for that old  classic tone. Im thinking green beret but wanted some extra insight and opinion. maybe even the et65 as the amps ability to run at 60 watts with its solid state rectifier  ?

Also the celestion i own is 16ohms so adding a seconddifferentt 16ohm gets me the 8ohms i need and a sweet tonal complexity.

Okay, yes ... I believe you are on the right track with the Green Beret.  That clasic 60's Green Back tone sounds like what you are after :-)
