Talk about a confusing topic for me.  I have two (original) all black speakers in my cabinet right now.  They measure just under 8 ohms on my meter.  The speakers have been and are connected to the 8 ohms output jack.  It has a 16 ohms oiutput jack too.  If I read correctly, that is for an external cabinet, right?

So when ordering new speakers, do I order 8 ohms or 16 ohms?

Thanks

Hum ...  it SHOULD have a pair of 8-ohms's wired in SERIES for 16-ohms total load, plugged into the 16-ohm jack.  (Thats probably what you have??)  Then, the 8-ohm jack would be for an ext 8-ohm cab.

So, plug those internals into the 16-ohm jack to make her the happiest...

Speaking of happy ... put a pair of sweet ET65s in there :-)
