Hi there

So, I have this 2x12 cab (Tube Town British) loaded with 2 ET-65, that I use for my '76 DR504 head (well, mainly), and while I do like the tight punchy lows and sweet highs, I find something missing in the mids... Let's say something like throaty low mids for riffing and smooth / singing (_not_ aggressive) high-mids for lead parts. Would the Reaper HP bring this, and would it mix well with the ET-65, or should I look at something else ?

NB: mostly playing with a LP and SG, heavy strings, standard / Drop D tuning,  70s hard rock and protopunk to grunge to stoner stuff.

TIA

Hummm ... actually, the Reaper might also be a bit too smooth for you ... since you say:

"I find something missing in the mids... Let's say something like throaty low mids for riffing and smooth / singing (_not_ aggressive) high-mids for lead parts."

That sounds like the British Lead is the speaker for you ... or maybe an Invader ... but my first choice would be the Brit Lead.
